PRODUCERS OF THE WEEK.
MISTO & PIZZI
Bio
Mysto & Pizzi are two up and coming producers, ages 21 and 22, hailing out of Queens, New York, who are quickly establishing a name for themselves in the world of Pop and R&B music. Their first major placement was on R. Kelly’s “Double Up” album ( track “Get Dirty feat. Chamillionaire”) which debuted at 1 on the Billboard 200 and earned the production duo their first Platinum Plaque. They then quickly followed up with their second major release on Kelly Rowland’s album “Ms. Kelly” (track “Love”) which received great reviews and opened several doors for the duo. Since then Mysto & Pizzi have been hard at work on several major projects as well as official remixes for artists such as Justin Timberlake and Ciara. The duo has also been working a lot with several established as well as up and coming songwriters such as Ryan Tedder (of OneRepublic), Evan Bogart, Makeba Riddick, Taj Jackson, Solange Knowles, Christina Milian, Wynter Gordon, Lil’ Eddie and Eritza (of Esquared), Corey Williams (a.k.a Latif), Phyllis & Cannon, Ilya S., and Renald Francoeur.
Aside from their production career, Mysto & Pizzi have gained a large online following with their groundbreaking Video-Blog (www.mystoandpizzi.com), documenting their daily grind and journey into the music industry, giving music fans a first look into the behind the scenes life of an up and coming producer duo. With the support of their fan base, they were able to reach the top of the Youtube.com music charts with over 4.3 million views.
They are currently working on and have pending placements with Wynter Gordon (Atlantic), Casely (Epic), Jordyn Taylor (Interscope) and Cassie (Badboy).
Influences: Max Martin, Timbaland, Scott Storch, The Neptunes, Ryan Leslie, Dr. Dre, Stargate.

Obama-Biden ticket ready to debut
CHICAGO, Illinois (CNN) -- Thousands of supporters were expected at a Saturday rally in Springfield, Illinois, to see the debut of Sen. Barack Obama and Delaware Sen. Joe Biden as a presidential ticket.
Obama, the presumptive Democratic nominee for president, announced his selection of Biden as his running mate with a 3 a.m. text message and a statement on his official Web site.
"Barack has chosen Senator Joe Biden to be our VP nominee," the text message said.
The 65-year-old senator who ran twice for president was informed of the decision Thursday, said Obama spokesman Bill Burton.
In an e-mail sent to supporters Saturday morning, Obama wrote: "Joe and I will appear for the first time as running mates this afternoon in Springfield, Illinois -- the same place this campaign began more than 19 months ago.
"I'm excited about hitting the campaign trail with Joe, but the two of us can't do this alone. We need your help to keep building this movement for change."

HBO'S NEW SERIES "TRUEBLOOD"
Thanks to a Japanese scientist's invention of synthetic blood, vampires have progressed from legendary monsters to fellow citizens overnight. And while humans have been safely removed from the menu, many remain apprehensive about these creatures "coming out of the coffin." Religious leaders and government officials around the world have chosen their sides, but in the small Louisiana town of Bon Temps, the jury is still out.
Local waitress Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), however, knows how it feels to be an outcast. "Cursed" with the ability to listen in on people's thoughts, she's also open-minded about the integration of vampires — particularly when it comes to Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), a handsome 173-year-old living up the road. But as Sookie is drawn into a series of mysteries surrounding Bill's arrival in Bon Temps, that tolerance will be put to the test.
A sexy, scary new drama from 'Six Feet Under' creator Alan Ball, 'True Blood' delves into the meticulously-crafted world of novelist Charlaine Harris. Described by the Emmy®-winning Ball as "popcorn for smart people" and featuring a colorful cast of local misfits, 'True Blood' promises an intense ride.

HEAVYWEIGHTS
It’s been some year for Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter. In the past 12 months, the Brooklyn, N.Y.-born hip-hop demigod released a platinum album, signed a 10-year, $150 million deal with concert promoter Live Nation and tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Beyoncé Knowles. Quite a record. But only good enough for a silver medal. While Jay-Z topped Forbes.com’s inaugural Hip-Hop Cash Kings list of the top-earning people in the business last year, in 2008 he cedes the throne to Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, who raked in $150 million over the past 12 months–almost twice what Jay-Z made.
For the second year in a row, Sean “Diddy” Combs finished third on our list. The ageless Dapper Don of rap banked a cool $35 million from his revenue streams, including his clothing line Sean John, record label Bad Boy, premium vodka Ciroc and two reality-TV shows. Kanye West clocks in at No. 4 with $30 million. The pink-polo-sporting rapper and producer released his third solo album, Graduation, last September. After handily outselling 50 Cent’s Curtis in a head-to-head opening-week matchup, West’s album went multiplatinum and won four Grammys.Andre “Dr. Dre” Young banked $15 million even though he hasn’t had a hit in years–he still gets rich on royalties from two decades of hits. Tupac himself pulled in a handsome sum this year–about $15 million–even though he’s been dead for over 10 years. Tupac is probably having himself a last laugh from beyond the grave, knowing that his onetime friend Suge Knight isn’t cashing in on the bonanza.
Kudos to these brothas for making that paper, but geeze, Tupac made 15 Million this year?

PRODUCER OF THE WEEK.
Sup Ya'll. I been doing a lot of research about music producers and beat makers, ill cats doing their thing with the mpc, 1000, 2000xl, 2500, 3000, etc. So lets start with the first post. "PRODUCER OF THE WEEK"
NAME: BOON DOC
BIO:
Boonie Mayfield a/k/a Boon Doc (born Solomon Vaughn on April 19, 1983) is an up and coming hip-hop producer/artist currently based in Denver, Colorado. Despite residing in a city that has been virtually shunned by the music industry, Boon Doc has managed to defeat the odds by generating a buzz through the internet with the use of his impactful Youtube videos and cutting edge beats. Fellow producers, artists and admirers around the world have constantly given him praise for his consistency, energy, style, soulfulness and humble attitude. Boon Doc's style clearly resembles hip-hop's "golden age" sound with an update of off-the-wall sample chopped melodies, intoxicating rhythms and hypnotic basslines. Although his personal favorite style of producing ranges within smooth, introspective, street/grimey and neo soul tracks, he proves to be extremely diverse with the ability to produce contemporary r&b, pop, club tracks and house. With the mass interest he has sparked around the world, Boon Doc is sure to become a household name in the near future.

RICK ROSS IS SUED FOR $4 MILL. "POLICE BRUTALITY .... LOL"
BY SOHH.COM
Matters have begun to heat up between Miami rapper Rick Ross and DJ Vlad as the West Coast DJ has filed a $4 million assault and battery lawsuit stemming from an altercation that happened during the Ozone Awards in Houston last week.
Filed today in New York, the suit claims Vlad was attacked by the Def Jam artist’s entourage last Sunday (August 10) after he asked questions in regards to the rapper’s previous corrections officer history for a piece on his website VLADTV.com.
As previously reported by SOHH’s Ya Heard blog, the altercation was, in deed, serious as the suit claims Vlad’s injuries “include 7 stitches below the eye, 3 fractures to the face, a corneal abrasion and possible permanent nerve damage.” Enduring pain to the head, body and limbs, Vlad says that he“continues to suffer great physical pain, mental anguish and bodily injuries.”
An official complaint has been issued by the deejay outlining the details of their interaction including a pre-assault text message from reading “N*ggas will learn…trillaaa” plus more direct threats aimed at him.
Upon realizing who was text messaging him, Vlad had continued reading the lines which said “I’ve been hearing things about me on your website. We gonna make a story. We going to see each other. We going to talk. Where are you?”
Finally meeting up at the event, Ross insisted “We got beef” as his associates began attacking Vlad before leaving the scene as one attacker said “Yeah, motherf*cker, that’s what you get.”
The lawsuit seeks $2 million in compensatory damages and another $2 million for punitive damages.
This latest occurrence marks the most recent controversy Ross has found himself in as a woman has asked for a court-ordered paternity test to prove he’s the father of her 2 year-old son in order to receive child support.
Pictures: Dead Bigfoot found and stored in a freezer
It may look like a discarded fancy dress Chewbacca costume in a compost heap, but two hunters are claiming that this is the dead body of the legendary Bigfoot.
Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer, who run Bigfoot expeditions, have told how they found Sasquatch two weeks ago in the woods of north Georgia, storing it since then in a freezer.
Pics have been posted on searchingforbigfoot.com but a press conference where further DNA and photographic proof will be presented from the pair and "the real Bigfoot Hunter" Tom Biscardi has been promised.
Whitton and Dyer maintain that the monstrous corpse nestling among their frozen peas and fish fingers is a "part human and part ape" male, weighing over 230kg with reddish hair.
According to reports, it has 41cm long flat feet feet, each with five toes and the hands have five fingers. The teeth are described as being more "human-like than ape like".
However, the pair are refusing to pinpoint exactly where they made their beastly discovery to protect other Bigfoots, which they claim to have spotted close to the body.
(Pic:screengab from www.searchingforbigfoot.com)
Biscardi denied that the claims are part of an elaborate hoax.
He said: "We trekked for a day a half ... what kind of lunatic would be out here in a monkey suit? I saw the thing, I touched it."

THE BLUE PRINT 3. JAY-Z DEADS TIMBALAND FOR K. WEST?? UHHH!!!
By SOHH.
The latest on Blueprint 3 is just in and it's not looking good for Timbaland. Check below for details.
Remember this?
"We wanna go to the world. The world is 'Big Pimpin'.' 'Big Pimpin' ' is an international hit, so we wanna do 10 of those. He wants me to do the whole thing this time around. I'mma make it a classic too. You better believe it. It'll be a monster!"-- Timbaland speaking on Jay's Blueprint 3, MTV interview, July
DAMN, Hov! What happened? I know: Little brother threw a hissy fit, took his Louis Vuitton heels, tossed them into the ceiling, and kicked and screamed for Big brother to change his mind. Damn, 'Ye. You got Timbo all hyped up for nothin! He seemed so happy in that interview that I thought the n*gga had pissed in his pants. That's not right, Kanye! You've got your "Be Kanye" ads all over New York City-- isn't that enough? Why do you always have to be all over everything?!
Via Dope Boy Mick Boogie:
"Kanye will indeed be producing most, if not all, of the album. Remember back in the day when an artist would do a whole album with one producer for cohesiveness? Think classic Snoop or Jeru with Primo... and fast forward it to 2008.
Jay will be leaking the finished version of "Jockin" as soon as he adds a new 3rd verse to the song.
Tracks to look for include the aforementioned "Jockin' Jay-Z" and a new track entitled "Victory" that the rumor mill says is simply amazing."
Both Kanye and Timbaland are excellent producers. But damn... how the story has changed in the past four weeks. Not that I have a problem with listening to a full album of Kanye beats. Not at all. And although Mick Boogie is a credible source, Hov hasn't even come out and talked about the album himself, so as of now my guess would be that nothing is written in stone. One thing that IS written in stone, however, is this: with the last two Jay-Z albums not quite living up to what was expected from many, BP3 BETTER deliver. You can't have a banger Part I and then end the trilogy madd corny.
Or you can do us (all) a favor and quit rapping altogether. Because with every post-retirement album, the clout seems to keep losing its... clout.
To be continued...

NEW THREAD " THE SHIT LIST "
I decided to make a new thread witch will be called THE SHIT LIST
the thread will be about putting people on blast for example kobe bryant for snitching on shack and NORE for bringing that bullshit reggaton to the states.
#1 on my shit list " OSCAR DE LA HOYA " & " MAYWEATHER "
Reason - not fighting Antonio Margarito, I know Oscar wants to retire looking good but looking good does no make you a champ I'm not saying paquio wont be a good contender but I feel the best way to retire is to go out with a bang. Pretty Boy refused to fight Margarito a few times he always looked the other way, the 0 in hes record doesn't mean anything to me it actually got me thinking he never really got tested. now in my eyes that's not a champ. If you consider your self the best you should go against the best.
Much props to COTTO for steeping in the ring with Margarito
